Cesspool on the Potomac

I arrived in Washington about 7 PM and immediately went to the National Archives. It's good to check things online because it was the only indoors exhibit open late. Outdoors monuments are open until midnight.

Washington has my favorite subway system. There were heatstroke warnings and nasty humidity this week so it was much better to stay underground.

Abe is totally looking at your boobs.

Night pictures suck. This is the World War II Memorial.

The FDR Memorial

Jefferson? BLACK! I knew it!

Whenever I get lost in Washington, I end up here at the Department of Agriculture. Something about the Metro map, I think.

Sausagefest

Joe and had a hankerin' for big sausages and went down to the Italian Festival.

Then we went to the Albright-Knox to check out the modern (read: mildly talented) art showcase.

The Sampler

The Taste of Buffalo was a wonderous time of fellowship for Dave, Dawn, Joe and myself. Here, some guy is slicing potatoes and cutting muffins.

We decided against the tour of the toothpaste tube.

Dave doesn't know where he is.

City Hall, says photography expert David Q. Hill, is "great."

This tasted awesome, whatever it was.

Fellowship continued at the Fergusons'

Scene from the mini-golf lagoon

My best game of mini-golf ever. I got invited to the tournament (again). I celebrated my victory at Anderson's with the other three losers.

Joe and Dave pray before finishing their desserts.

Family dinner outside and in the dark.

Holly

Tim's girlfriend Holly came to visit, so Hannah and I showed her the seedier parts of Buffalo. By the time it was over, we all had to pee.

Hannah rocked a cheesecake at Spot Coffee.

The Chippewa Subway was closed for Tax Evasion. Buffalo is awesome!

Jerry wasn't home, so we built a studio and worked on some demos. On the TV is a picture of Triangle Park, Lexington, Kentucky.

Dogs Love Dave.
